Marc Johnson charged up from 11th on the grid to take the lead from Eddie Marshall on lap 15 Saturday night.  From there, he was able to hold on to win the Ron Van Etten Memorial to claim his first win of the year.

“We were stuck [to the track] and hit the setup right,” Johnson said.  “We rolled the center really well, kind of crowded [Marshall] a little bit and pinched him down.  Once we got in the clean air, that was it.”

Johnson won by 2.95 seconds over Kolby Schroder.  Andy Bachetti was third, then Marshall and Keith Flach.

Josh Marcus started from the pole, but immediately lost his advantage to John Virgilio.  Marshall was able to move up to second and pressure the former Sportsman champion.  By lap 9, Marshall had the lead.

Johnson was quickly moving up from his 11th starting spot, making use of the outside line on the racy high banks.  He was able to take second from Virgilio on lap 13.  Shortly afterwards, Timothy Davis spun and hit the wall exiting turn 4 to bring out the race’s only caution.

On the restart, Johnson immediately put the pressure on Marshall for the lead.  Coming to halfway, he was able to make the outside work to take the lead.  Further back, Bachetti passed five cars on the restart to move into the top-five.

Once out front, Johnson was able to open up a sizable advantage while Schroder drove into second.  He could not be caught as the “White Knight” took the victory.  The top-five finishers also earned a $1,000 bonus in memory of Van Etten.

The 358 Modified class saw Nick Perez start from pole and lead early.  Meanwhile, Kolby Schroder, driving in place of Brian Berger, spun in turn 3 and collected Alan Houghtaling to bring out a yellow.  Both drivers would continue.

After the restart, Guy Sheldon moved to the outside of Nick Perez and took the lead away on the outside line.  Once there, he pulled out a decent gap until Kim LaVoy and Montgomery Tremont collided to bring out a caution on lap 9.

Bachetti was once again a threat.  Despite starting 14th, he quickly made his way up the order.  When the caution on lap 9 came out, it was go time.  A strong restart got Bachetti to second.  Then, he put the pressure on Sheldon.

He was just about to snag the lead on lap 13 when Sheldon broke in turn 2.  The veteran racer limped back to the pits, his race over.  Meanwhile, Bachetti inherited the lead and drove off to his third win of the year.

Bachetti won by 2.433 seconds over Joey Coppola.  Brady Cordova was third, then Joey Bonetti and Ray Hall Jr.

In Sportsman, Karl Barnes started from the pole and led early.  Anthony Maxon was able to move up from the second row and made the move to take the lead on lap 3 in turn 2.

So far in 2026, Tim Hartman Jr. and A.J. Albreada have been the strongest drivers in the class and they were strong this night as well.  Albreada was able to take second from Craig Wholey on lap 10 and set off after Maxon.

Three laps later, he had the lead.  Hartman, who started 12th, was also on his way to the front.  However, Wholey came back towards the front, took second from Maxon and took the fight to Albreada.

With three laps to go, Wholey took the lead away from Albreada and held on to take the win.  Hartman just edged out Albreada for second.  Nick Brundige was fourth, followed by Maxon.

Limited Sportsman saw Garrett Biagiarelli start from the pole and lead flag-to-flag to take his first Lebanon Valley victory.  John Santolin was second, then Braxton Martin, Dustin Bowen and Matt Humes.

Pro Stock saw Shawn Perez Jr. take the lead away from pole sitter Frank Twing Jr. on the first lap.  He tried to open up a gap, but a spin for Dave Stickles brought out an early caution.  It was not a good night for Stickles as he was involved in three separate incidents.

On the restart, Chris Stalker was able to take the lead from Shawn Perez Jr. and assert himself.  However, Jason Casey was coming up through the field from 10th on the grid.

The younger of the Caseys missed the last race on May 30 since he’s full-time in the DIRTcar Pro Stock Series and they were racing at Autodrome Drummond.  He didn’t miss a beat as he drove up to second by halfway.

After another caution, Jason Casey was able to slip past Stalker on the restart to take the lead.  From there, he was not threatened on the way to his fourth win of the year.  Tom Dean was second, then Stalker, Jay Casey and Shawn Perez.

In the 4-Cylinder Feature, Jason Peck took the win over Stephen Burka.  Walter Scramm won the 40-lap Cannonball feature.
